redmi note 4 cant disable 3g/wcdma mode for second sim card. tried android engineer mode (about phone->tap few times on memory) and mtk engineer mode (network mode->2nd sim card). after switching to gsm network mode immediately reverts back to wcdma.

For me it works fine on Mi5S and android 6.

Great. You say nothing. Read my message. I know about data wiping. I did it when flash previous rom. I am so happy that I will do it every update

The key point is don't use second space nor dual apps after format data otherwise you will lost widget again...

that's the same problem of Mi Note Pro, infact I'm still 7.3.16. Widget are not working since after 7.3.16...
Not using second space and dual apps is it that the work around after wiping data? How is it that possible?

It's on Miui dev team roof, not Xiaomi.eu. Xiaomi.eu is based in official MIUI China ROMs, so no new Android version until they switch.
In my experience, MIUI usually do not perform minor Android upgrades. So don't expect a 7.1.x If currently you are at 7.0.

Yes, but is it data wiping and not using dual apps and second space a real solution of the problem? I mean most of us use dual apps but my widget are setting for not the dual apps but for primary space apps. Anyway actually to have everything working fine I've to still in 7.3.16, correct?

My RedMI Note 4 still has random reboots. I do not know why, since February, all weekly versions make my terminal reboot, most of the times while it's in standby mode.
Anyone else?
