I think I have another issue with 8.5.2.0 which wasn't there on previous versions. On two occasions, my phone has refused to connect to known and registered WiFi networks; it just sits there, using cellular data, when in reach of WiFi. It can "see" the WiFi networks SSIDs, but does not connect to them.

Enabling Airplane mode, waiting a couple seconds, and disabling it makes the phone connect to WiFi again. Just disabling and enabling WiFi does not solve the problem for me.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Damn, Xiaomi... This is, generally speaking, a good ROM... But can't fix and improve stuff without breaking something else, I guess...? :-|

Tht happened me too when I was on 8.2.2, but turning WiFi off/on was fixing it. Now I am on masik k rom. I ll try eu one day

Could you please write a small report about differences and your feels about both of these ROM's? Which ROM do you prefer? What about battery life and etc...

I was using global 8.2.2, than installed masik, it has many mods, clean and soft. Its installing with aroma, so u can pick mods that u want. Battery performance, ram usage, performance are better. Its not giving a huge of battery life, but slightly better than global 8.2.2. I want to try eu rom but I am little bit lazy

Xiaomi.eu 8.5.2.0 surely is a nice improvement over 8.2.2.0, but it has its quirks too. I had some problems with notifications (not all of them came through) and the WiFi problem I describe some posts above in this thread. But anyway, it's a very nice ROM, and clearly an improvement over previous versions.

Currently, I've installed LineageOS latest nightly, and I have to say that it's really good. Haven't found any real problems with it.

Update to 8.5.2.0 from 8.2.2.0, haven't found any problems yet..
GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc everything works perfect just like 8.2.2.0
Can't say much about battery barely any difference, but it's good i only charge it once a day and i have 3-4 hours screen time.

Then I will try a clean install to see if it will work for me.

I found the issue with Bluetooth. On my car stereo is working ok. But when I give permission to share contacts in starts connecting and disconnecting. If I remove permission to share contacts it work normally but can't sync my contact with the car stereo.

As the title says, .eu 8.5.2.0 stable is out!

I'm downloading it now, but wanted to open this thread so anyone who has installed it can comment! You know, the usual stuff: battery life, general stability, GPS performance, installation issues, etc.

i have 8.1.2.0 MAAMIDI version on my phone.
is this rom have turkish langoage support?
is it android 6 or 7?
which rom installation you advice to me?

Hi guys!
I'm trying out the .eu rom here. I'm having an issue with the search result from status bar. It often show apps from Xiaomi appstore (Chinese app) at the top of the result page.

Is it supposed to be normal for this rom's feature? Is there anyway to disable it?

Other than that, the texts in some features in Wifi Setting (and probably somewhere else too) are not well aligned with the textbox.

I don't have much time to tinker with the rom yet but so far, these two things are bugging me.

Then rollback on 8.2.2.0, on my phone work LEDs with 8.2.2.0 and 8.5.2.0.

You're right. Switching to default theme fixed the text outside the box issue. The Chinese search results, I assume it's some leftover during the transition from Chinese beta ROMs.. That's kinda annoying

8.5.2.0 China stable has been removed from the official MIUI downloads page... Only EU version is still available for this release
