Hi guys, i've installed the latest rom but It seems nothing has changed. App preview images in recent apps are still square instead of rounded. As for notifications, if I receive 2 WhatsApp messages it shows " 2 messages from two chat", while I saw some users posting screenshots in which previews are shown for each message ( notification shade?)
Do I have to activate something or these functions simply don't work on my old (but gold) mi4?

QR scanner is fine. Switching to business card / document scanner FC every time. Clearing cache doesn't solve the issue.

By wiping data doesn't erase the internal memory but apps&data.(Erase or format does). Anyway to downgrade you can try by wiping just Dalvik/&cache probably no issue.

Depends on which previous rom.. if it"s 1 or 2 or 3 weeks ago then you can dirty flash the previous rom, i have done this myself several times without problem, no data/file lost, no need to reinstall any app.

Dirty flash = download rom zip file, boot to TWRP, install the zip, clear cache/dalvik, reboot

it is really appalling to read countless bugs as reported by users and some even repetitive over several rom versions. could be that miui developers don't have sufficient time to debug new rom versions from old bugs and new ones introduced by new features? why doesn't miui top brass just extend the interval of publishing new rom version to say, every two weeks? i for one can tolerate a monthly iteration of the rom at the same time that the latest security routines are available; this way more bugs can be quashed and lesser angst from users. however, i know flashcoholics wont take this sitting down.
