Hi, i can't instal on my mi note 3.. in twrp appear error 7 thia device is not a jason is a "".. can u help me?

As much as i hate to say it, the only cure for the big problems are to completely ignore the custom roms with root and go back to Global stable for now.
I used fastboot and miflash to flash global stable 9.5.13 and then i updated with xiaomi recovery mode (not twrp!) to global stable 9.6.1, and that´s where i am staying for now with my mi8 until probably October by my calculation or even Nov 2018 if Miui can´t get their act together. I´ll do without the pretty and custom goodies till then and at least have basic use of my phone.
Everything else is just a big headache and not worth the time even though i really want to put a new rom on my phone every week !
Other than that, i only say thank you when i receive something of real value and not something broken and unfinished.
Credit where credit is due only .

This is very true and well said, i AM now going to use ONLY stable Roms from now on because of all the hedaches and reinstalling apps etc i have to now do. I do thank the devs for there hard work as i always have done, its just a shame this journey is over for now.

I have problem showing app icons on notification bar on lock screen. Someone said it's the feature by xiaomi but I doubt.

There are settings for showing or hiding notifications on lock screen.

You need to set the notifications of each app to urgent for them to show on the lockscreen, hope this helps. You can find this in the notification settings for each app

Hi,
It seems to me "Redmi note 4 MTK" (nikel) is facing a fatal problem for this version and which is after updating when the device turns on it doesn't show any app icon or even notification bar anything. Which lefts the phone unusable. Although, it shows power menu when I press the power button.
Did anyone update this phone successfully? if so let me know. And is It Fixable? Please let me know.View attachment 20364

Hello. Yes, i don't have any duplicated apps saw after updating it to .23. All of my apps present on latest version are still there after updating. Everything is working fine as always. Maybe you have dual apps activated before updating? Try clearing cache in twrp or manually deleting those duplicated apps.

There are some users reporting, that they updated from miui9 to 10 without a wipe.
So I would give it a try (of course as always - make a backup before to be safe ;-)

Good for you! These are called "Beta"/"Developer" releases for a reason. If you expected everything to run smoothly, you both were fooling yourselves.

The issue surrounding Redmi note 4 mtk has been fixed if anyone still facing the issue just redownload it again flash it in recovery. They updated the file. And Thanks for such quick response
