You can also install Google installer V3 APK and install all Google services including play store. Then just need to download Google maps from ay store. Simple as that

Now I have a different problem, I can't flash magisk ( 17.1 .2 .3) that I get a bootloop.
Magisk 16 doesn't get a bootloop, but when I open magisk manager it says I don't have magisk installed anyway.. sigh

There's a bug. I cant change Bluetooth audio codec from SBC on Mi8.

Do you mean fit_notch_dipper.apk which is listed in OP? It says that it doesn't work for Pie.

For sirius, you can search fit notch for pie on XDA. I made a patch

Not really. Most of the apps is aligned well but some apps, like Solid Explorer, is not. There is a horizontal bar between the status bar and app even though the app is set to display full screen.

Hmmm, try to flash my patch for mi8 SE and tell me it work or not.
Check height of horizontal bar, if it smaller, this method will work on Mi8. I'll make a patch for Mi8

thanks man. what i meant though is that the notch to be natively supported in pie. so when i install a treble img the notch should work flawlessly
