You said "wiped everything". This has no meaning of what you did.
We said FORMAT DATA. it is different.
IN twrp:
WIPE/FORMAT DATA/YES
save your data before!
Hi LOLO,
What is the easyest way to backup the data ?? possible with TWRP ??
Thank you

Ok I got a mix 2 normal and my settings app aren't dark but the rest is . I tried to clear data of the app but it doesn't do anything . Since when do you got the settings app dark mode ?? Since the dark mode was launch or recently ???

Even my calculator app is still white ...

I installed this version 2 days ago

Best is copy past to your computer.
Or MIUI back up in settings. good but not perfect.
Titanium for application with personal data to be kept.
TWRP backup is always at risk in case of TWRP up date...I don't like it.

I would love that DEVs loved as much as me native integration with Google Messages, Google Dial, Google Contacs and Google Calendar instead Xiaomi ones.

If you don't there's my tip for next updates :)

Acting like Apple fan boys. No this is why we choose android. Because of it's flexibility and open source logic.

Why are you against the signature?
It cool to know which device we own...

It makes me upset because I'm tired reading this Tapatalk ad again and again on every forum I read.

The device model still can be writen without this complete advertising sentence:

For example: "MI 8 owner" or "MI 8 user"
instead of "Sent from my MI 8 using Tapatalk"

...unless you work for Tapatalk.

I have a problem with the Bluetooth module. When I first time turn it on, it's working normally but the second time it's never start. The only way is the reboot then work normally again, once.

It's possible with a Xiaomi phone, by installing the right rom: https://download.pixelexperience.org/whyred/

@Every Tapatalk users: Please get rid of this annoying advertising signature.
Eh why are you even here if you prefer PE. I'm an AOSP guy myself but whining like this here is just pathetic. Have some respect for the community here providing these roms (and starting out with globalising MIUI before Xiaomi themselves did it).
If you're getting this annoyed by tapatalk signatures, maybe you should re-evaluate your purpose in life.

I've never written that I like the Pixel Experience roms!
I only answered to LaurentiuCTN who asked for a rom without MIUI.

Personally, I enjoy the xiaomi.eu roms and that's why I'm here.
But I hate the advertising and I don't understand why some many people keep putting it in their posts because I see it as a visual pollution.

Don't like, don't use. Simple.
Nobody cares about your opinion.
You are here, conform yourself.

EDIT: nevermind, was trying Simple Kernel 3.0 which have Hotspot bug and didn't restore the stock boot before writing here, sorry for the wrong report :emoji_cold_sweat:

Hi guys, since I've updated my Mi 8 to this latest I'm encountering a couple of annoyances:

- high Xiaomi Framework Services usage, which I didn't had on previous builds
- WiFi Hotspot not working: my Xiaomi Air 13,3 2016 can find and connect to the hotspot, but I have no real connection to Internet. With the Mi 8 Lite on Global Stable of my girl, all is working good (looking around I've seen other users with other models on 9.3.28 with this same issue)

@Igor Eisberg @ingbrzy if you could give a look at both or I will check with next weekly and, in case, report again :emoji_nerd:

Regards
Can't confirm, working just fine, also hotspot and WiFi connectivity at the same time is possible (despite other post earlier).

Regards

Does some Brazilian Xiaomi user, was able to enable VoLTE in any Brazilian carrier (like Tim - Vivo - Claro)? I have also a Global Mi Note 2 - that's working in 700MHz APT (B28), but doesn't activate VoLTE, although all settings appear normal according to all forums and tutorials checked...
