Yes, it disables write permission on filesystem.
You can reverse it easily:

Hello, you never lose your data when you install Magisk.
It's only when you unlock/relock the phone's bootloader.

Hi Guys. I want to go back to stable on my mi9, but when I do (latest twrp, factory reset, flash) it goes after reboot and 1min waiting straight to twrp. Twrp shows enablefilecrypto failed, but then decrypts all data correctly. Any ideas?
Tried 11.0.2.0 and 11.0.4.0.

Hey! Is there anyway to install xiaomi.eu rom 9-11-21 with keeping encryption?
After wiping data and installing the zip via recovery, the system is not encrypted.
I tried enabling encryption from the system settings but it asks for my device pin and then does nothing.
Is this normal? Thanks for this awesome rom anyway!

I flashed EU but checked and changed fstab in vendor before booting. For me it wasn't "fileencryption=ice,quota". When I tried to run EU without changing fstab before I had bootloop.
I installed the first one, that was uploaded before disappearing and reappearing on sourceforge.

The rom with the md5 that you say is offered to me as an ota right now. But in recovery, it cannot be installed because it says that it has an earlier date than the rom that is currently installed.

Explain, please. why on my old redmi 6 where is 625 dragon, gps satellites catch fix 3 times faster than on k20 pro ?? . With each version of the firmware I hope to decide. But the satellites catch a fix of the order of 1_2 minutes! Outdoors!!!

I managed to solve it. I removed every overlay, rebooted and then re-applied them again. Everything works now

Actually I'd wish for a reupload. I have a feeling that the high battery drain and weird lock-ups have something to do with these weird loggings
I have the same problem with my MI9.
My other phone is the Redmi Note 5 Pro and the GPS fixes faster, more accurately and indoors.
Mr. @ingbrzy , can you tell us if you have the same problem with your MI9
