Try disabling the full screen gestures and use the soft buttons. when it works, configure the app-settings and mybe afterwards, you can use it normally with full screen gestures switched back on.

After 3 days with miui 12 on Mi 8 it seems a good ROM. Not many bugs for BETA ROM!
Battery is not good and animations on gestures and scrolling are a bit lagy but those are normal in a new release.
My only "serious" bug is tha I can't use my bank application... I get the message Screen Overlay Detected f but on settings i turn off all the display over apps in every application but still get the same error... Anyone knows the solution for that issue?

If you use gesture turn back to navigation bar at least when using that app

I Don't know if this from the rom, but in my bank app "Boon" i can't connect to my account , the touch screen is not working, it's only in this app

You have to disable fullscreen gestures. I had the same problem with boon. Go to Setting type in the searchbox "Fullscreen display" and switch from full screen gestures to Buttons

Hello all,
I'm facing a problem regarding to the Google dial app. On my Mi9 I can't make any calls, after I set the Google dial as my default dialer app. When I try to make a call, I receive a message saying that I don't have network signal.
Anyone facing the same issue?

The clean flash is always better but needs a lot of work to set up the phone again. And i don't get good battery on redmi note 7 and on max3

I wiped cache, dalvik/art and System, on my mi mix 2, then i flashed miui12 ROM, and my devide doesn't reboot, well, it tries to reboot, but it is taking a lot of time, i think that's no normal.
Please, somebody know what can i do?

Wrong.
Go to read what is a beta in cycle of software.
These bugs arent of beta state, these bugs are before of pre-alpha, Indeed they are parts of the errors to be fixed in the development state, you dont realize what Is Camera Api broken and Banking apps broken. These type of errors arent of beta state, but they are of pre-pre-alpha.
And you again Need to understand this, they arent bugs of beta MIUI 12, they are bugs of modifications by Xiaomi.eu team, this mean that if MIUI 12 was stable you had the Same identical problems because xiaomi.eu team didnt test before to release and because they created these problems, no Xiaomi MIUI team, but xiaomi.eu team.
Also if is a beta, developers test always the software before to release to users...
The UAT that Is what se are doing now Is used to see others things, no these type of errors, and now i dont explain you the theory back.
Learn alone what Is a development cycle Life if you want..
The point of my critic Is not because there are these problems, the point Is that they didnt test before to release.
I hope Is clear now and Im Tired to repeat every time the same things.

And I m tired of explaining that no one forced you to install eu beta ROM, so dont do it untill the stable release.

Usually System is not to wipe... Maybe this is the problem...
