i followed the tutorial, now my os is gone!!!! - stuck in a bootloop, but I did not install the rom yet because I don't want to install the xiaomi.eu rom

hi has anyone installed the latest eu rom with android 11? Is it worth installing? Are there any wifi network operator bugs? Do you have to make a dat format necessarily? Last question is what is the last working twrp? Thanks I already have the eu with A 10 installed

I installed it yesterday in the evening. Haven't got the time to dig around very much, but so far everything seems OK. I only wiped cache & dalvik aftrer installation.

I changed to this 3.5 twrp https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=17248734326145712729

Before this I was on the old twrp mentioned in the first post.

I tried to update (with the old twrp) from android 10 to 11, but after a few normal reboots I came stuck in fastboot screen.

So MAYBE it is better to start with the 3.5 toco twrp install and AFTER that install from 3.5 twrp to the new Android 11 rom.
(I did a clean install because I was stuck in the fastboot screen)

(There is also a black edition new twrp, it is called: pitchblack recovery 3.0.0, i haven't tried that one).

I don't have WiFi issues, but I only used it a few hours.I don't know what you mean exactly with: wifi network operator bugs btw.

Hi
Updated to the latest 12.1.... version, noticed a bug - file selection dialog in apps doesn't work!
it just shows a splash screen of the files app and closes!
just me?
package is com.google.android.documentsui
reflashed a couple of times still same effect
1 of many ways to reproduce:
open a whatsapp chat, select the clip, try to send a document, in the dialog that opens press "Browse other docs".

UPDATE:
Tried to update the app from apkmirror, didn't help.
But I found another Workaround / Solution:
I just disabled the app (through titanium backup but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways)
Now the MIUI Files app launches instead.

Still an annoying bug I think.

UPDATE 2:
Accessibility services used by apps such as tasker and lastpass DO NOT WORK!
This could be Android 11 or Magisk and exposed in fault rather then MIUI or Xiaomi.eu but still... this is a big step backwards in terms of functionality for me.

UPDATE 3:
OK, so I removed Magisk and it started working... will update once I pin down what module is breaking it.

UPDATE 4:
Ok so something is definitely not 100% with my setup, but it seems to work after reinstalling Magisk.
I noticed the phone soft rebooted itself after I manually rebooted it and while it was loading up.
It happened the last two times.
seems ok after the soft reboot though.
BOTTOM LINE... probably "my" fault. (worked ok in the previous version though)

One more thing that annoys me:
external mouse right click.
used to be 'back', now its opening context menu.

(I have a bluetooth trackpad in my car with some media + extra buttons and I really miss the back button which is now a right click)

Is the 1st post still up to date? I have never flashed MI NOTE 10 LITE on my phone.
I want to flash xiaomi.eu 12.5

Did you do everything exactly as in post 1?
To be honest, no.
Because I initiated by flashing a Fastboot ROM.
I did this because I wanted to have a clean fresh build prior to flashing Xiaomi.eu, in order to avoid issues down the line.

Nevertheless, if you search on the repository, you will find a Fastboot ROM of Xiaomi.eu, namely V12.0.2.
After unlocking your bootloader, you can use that Fastboot ROM to begin your Xiaomi.eu router.

Afterwards, you may flash TWRP recovery, and flash the V12.5.1 ROM and Magisk.

1. My bootloader is now open. Never have I ever flashed anything on my phone. Now for the first time.
2. Which TWRP do I take now? I have never had TWRP on my phone before.
3. Do I have to do (fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img)?
4. I don't want a "Magist"
5. 12.5.1. stable, I downloaded it.
6. I come from germany..
Thanks for an answer.. :)
