Hey guys!
yesterday i tried to install the Xiaomi.eu 12.5 ROM on my Mi Note 10 Lite and i failed :/
I unlocked the Phone normally by waiting 170h without a problem. After that i installed the TWRP from the XDA Forum (v3.4.0-14). Everything without a problem. Then after i booted up into TWRP i wiped all data and thats when things went downhill. I couldnt transfer the ROM from my PC to my phone. It showed the phone and the internal storage but without any MB it was just blank. I tried everything online. Mounting, repairing, reinstalling TWRP, rebooting. Nothing worked. Then i noticed in the log that TWRP couldnt decrypt my phone because i didnt know the password at the start of TWRP. Because of unlock my phone was reseted and stuck in a bootloop after i wiped data in TWRP. So i went back to stock ROM (Phone is still unlocked) with fastboot. What did i do wrong? Can someone explain it to me please?

Hello,

The rookie mistake => You should not "Wipe /data", you have to "Format Data". ^^

In "Wipe" menu => "Format Data" button => Type 'yes' to confirm => Data will be formatted and encryption removed. :)

Then go in "Reboot" menu => "Recovery"

After that, you can transfert the ROM form your PC to your phone.

;)

Hi i forgot to write that. I did format it with 'yes' at the start.

Hey thank you so much! It worked with the newest TWRP version instantly! Have a great sunday and stay healthy! :D
Can I ask about your experience with xiaomi.eu on mi note 10 lite? Im thinking about installing it too because there are some proximity sensor issues with the stock rom during phone calls (screen turns on). I wonder if the xiaomi.eu version might help...
