Well, technically, the TWRPs for Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and probably Mi 10 Ultra are working with Android 12, it's just that they can't decrypt /data partition, so flashing can only be done with an OTG flash drive. We had that problem in the past when Android 11 was released for these devices.
In any case, fastboot method is probably more convenient until a new TWRP is released.

i've a question: I updated my umi in fast boot mode with android 12. doing this, I lost my twrp?

And something else - do you use wired or wireless AA?
There was a bug in wireless AA in A11 when in bad coverage phone looses and reconnects to mobile network, AA crashes. The bug wasn't there in first releases of A12, but it appeared again (IMO in releases after fastboot logo was changed). That is why I stay on xiaomi 21.10.22 where AA is working properly (haven't noticed other bugs too).
If you use wireless AA, could check this too? It can be reproduced by togling mobile data.

Unable to connect AA with bluetooth so I use a wire. I will try to downgrade to 21.11.11 to see if it fix the problem

EDIT: Don't do that, i tried to dirty flash and it broke my gallery and bluetooth

First time that TWRP backukp has failed! So I did a complete re-install (A11) using backups. So I had a fresh install (A11) to upgrade.

I'm frequently using the ADB/USB cable connection to my laptop for backups, so that is working.
I ran 'windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat'. No problem
There was one 'fail' - Writing 'storsecbak' FAILED (remote: '(storsecbak) No such partition') - but that's already known, and so no problem.There was rather a long wait while 'super' got started. But then it all finished fine.

I've had to re-configure a few apps - email, contacts and calendar - having to give them full accesses in order to work. Google is asking lots of permissions. I've gone over to using the App drawer. So far everything is working fine.

I shall be looking at sorting Magisk (Canary) soon.

Hi, guys!
Anyone else having problems with Android Auto for the last 2 weekly versions? Half of the screen (car display) is covered by the home and voice assistant buttons and the top 1/4 is filled with extra large icons for signal, weather, etc. So all the icons are very large. Tried deleting cache, data, uninstalling updates and reinstalling those back, disable and enable AA but no luck. If I flash again the ROM from 17th of November (this is the first version I have flashed after unlocking bootloader coming from CHINA ROM) everything gets back to normal. Also, from Gmail I cannot download any attachments. Do you have any idea why?

EDIT: I have just seen this issue has been already discussed and there is no fix yet.
Anyway, maybe you have some ideas for Gmail attachments?
 
I have the stable version installed for the redmi 9t
is this weekly version much better?
should I install it with clean formatting?
If then they release another weekly version, how can I update without losing data or formatting?

I've updated my MI 10 Pro to version 12 but I can't see significant changes. Everything is quite the same. Did I miss something?

*stable to beta / beta to stable need to clean install
*weekly update is like software update, wont losing any data

Am I the only one who is missing SCREEN in battery option?

Dirty flashed on 21.11.25 Poco F3

I cleared the data of battery and performance in APP but no option of SCREEN.

para instalar semanalmente en semanalmente, ¿cómo sería el proceso simplemente parpadeando en la parte superior o con una pequeña limpieza?

Yup, sure. To downgrade you need clean flash.
By the way wired connections is OK.
DPI issue in last 2 releases is same in wired and wireless.

extract rom image and ...

Put your phone into fastboot mode -> reboot device and press "volume - (down) and power"

Then it depends if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time / change from weekly to stable vice versa or as an update

# windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
# windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat <- use this to update

One user asked if he has to replace "_rom." with the filename of the rom-file...
If you are thinking about this or dont know how to run the commands, I suggest not to update :)
Dont forget to connect your device with the computer ...

Disable magisk modules and unhide magisk before update if you have installed it and make a backup

After updating to A12 I can't login to my bank due to this error UMI. :(
