How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi K40 / Poco F3

Weekly ROMs are test versions in which new features appear faster. But errors can occur more often in it, and even more serious ones.
Nevertheless, they are usable for daily use.

Good morning. Many thanks for the quick response. Can I switch from stable to weekly without formatting the data? Because I'm new to the subject and it's very difficult to install and configure everything. Thank you for the patience. Which do you use?

Shouldn't be a problem, it's considered an update.
Going from Weekly to Stable is considered a downgrade and "Format Data" is recommended.

It is a hybrid ROM. You can install it using fastboot or TWRP method. It's your choice what you choose.
There will be no more weekly ROMs released after April 21st. Stable ROM support will continue.

Many thanks for the quick response.
Sorry, didn't idea where can I download stock roms, would you please help me?
Thanks

Edit: Here is an alternative site as well since mi.com is being so slow for me today.

Hi, lately all custom ROMs have problem because of the google changes and CTS profile. I want stable ROM with working GPay. What do you guys recommend ? Last stable MIUI 13 or MIUI 14? I saw that MIUI 14 have problems with the delayed notifications. Is this still relevant and it is for all applications or only WhatsApp?

Stable 14 had the delayed notification issues.
If you want the least problems without having to trouble shoot anything then go back to stock.

Hello. I currently have 14.0.5 stable and since the previous version, 14.0.4, I experience battery drain. The battery really pays very little.
I did the formatting to see if that would solve it, but no.
anyone else with this problem?

Hi all,

I have spent the better part of my evening trying to figure this out but my efforts are futile. I am currently running a past(miui13) version of xiaomi.eu and decided to update to 14. I have managed to run fastboot correctly, install twrp which would upgrade my device "seamlessly". However, when completing the prompts from the updater, I reboot to the stock recovery and if I use fastboot to get to twrp, my data are encrypted and there is nothing I can do. I do not believe I have ever setup a pin for the encryption and all my usual pins simply do not work. I have read other posts having the same encryption issue, but I have not seen a solution.
I would prefer to not have to wipe my phone at this stage, if this is possible at all.

Thank you for your time.

Which version of the TWRP recovery are you using? It sounds like you're not using the correct one for MIUI13 (Android 12). You likely download the one with A13 in the file name.

Damn you are right, I am about to pull my hair out. I was using a version "11" earlier in the day and now I am using indeed an "A13". I take that I have to get a "12"?

Yep give the A12 one a try. That should decrypt your data partition correctly. If not, reboot to android and set a pin, then remove it and try again.
