How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi K40 / Poco F3

Hey'all. This is my first time leaving Miui Global on F3. I'm currently in the process of unlocking the bootloader (5 to 6 days left)
What are my choices flashing an EU Rom for the first time? What do you recommend and What should I keep in mind doing it?

Just Fastboot it and enjoy.
The latest MIUI 14 Weekly is almost perfect.

Just follow the instructions. Choose the installation method according to the name of the ROM.

Select the correct version of TWRP
For Android 13 Weekly (beta) ROM select twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.6_A13-alioth-skkk.img.
For Android 12 Stable ROM select twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-alioth-skkk.img

Got it, but the beta version is fastboot method that doesnt need twrp, does it?

At the moment yes. The next release of the Weekly ROM will be the recovery version.. It will be installed using TWRP

do you know if twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.6_A13-alioth-skkk.img is being able to fully decrypt/backup A13 ROM now (current weekly)?

Backup "Data" - yes.
Restore backup - don't know (didn't try)

Is there a howto install the stable version 13.0.9 using twrp 3.7.0 A12 because I cant see the twrp toolkit bat mentioned in the instructions!

Show me the TWRP_toolkit folder.

What is it ? This is not RUN_toolkit. I asked about the RUN_twrp folder not the ROM and TWRP files.
(Toolkit already includes TWRP)

I am really sorry, but just bear with me for a moment
1 this is all I need for installing MIUI 13.0.9 for the first time ?
2 the twrp image I showd you previously, what is it for then? what do I have to do with it ?

1- Yes, that's all you need.
2 - You need the TWRP file if you use manual commands in CMD to boot or install TWRP.
For convenience and the less experienced, there is RUN_twrp_toolkit for this purpose

I installed 13.0.9 successfully, but I am dissapointed the reason I flashed it still doesnt work.
Can I now flash 14 weekly? Is it the same process?

So since twrp is permanent after my first installation, I just need to download the 14 weekly rom recovery version, install it through twrp snd format data before system reboot. Right?

Weekly MIUI 14 is with Android 13.
Since your current ROM has TWRP for android 12 use RUN_TWRP_toolkit again which contains TWRP for android 13.
After installing the ROM, do "Format Data".

You can try it.

If you choose to do a clean install (recommended) then "Format Data" is done after the ROM is installed, not before the installation.

Thanks for the quick answer. I dont like to loose everything in my data, but ok i think i will do clean install, in order to avoid minor bugs.

You can try a dirty install. If problems occur, you can "Format data" afterwards.

This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the miui 14 beta for the poco f3. I only see for the K40Pro.
