HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Of course. Recovery is just a boot partition that is not related to the installed ROM.

Just get the recovery.img from the "images" folder in the ROM package you have installed, then flash it the same way you flashed twrp.

Though, if you're going to install global stock ROM, this is obviously not needed as the recovery will be reflashed with the global ROM.
i can install global stock rom directly to my China version unit? like i just download stock ROM & extract & run the .bat file?

Yes. But as gogocar62 already pointed out, you must not lock the bootloader in that state.
So be careful to NOT run the flash_all_lock.bat, as it will cause a hardbrick and make your device permanently unusable. Instead use the flash_all.bat.
If you're using MiFlash, make sure to select the "flash all" option in bottom right corner, as it is set to "flash all and lock" by default.

I dont know if its just me but i did a clear flash of my Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi SIM Activation Service is not working
EDIT: about 1-2 days later it just worked.
Noticed that it started working as soon as Xiaomi Cloud started to show my storage size increasing because of the Cloud Backup i did

If you face crash (or more like two reboots in a row) while trying to install this update, do this command in ADB:
Code:
adb shell pm uninstall com.google.android.captiveportallogin
and try again.
i m facing same problem on vermeer can you please tell me what i have to do step by step?
thanks for your time

Hi! I have a Xiaomi 14 that just came back from service after a motherboard replacement. I’ve installed the latest version (HOUJI_OS2.0.212.0.VNCCNXM)
but I’m experiencing three issues:
_Poor battery performance
_No zoom slider available when recording videos
_can’t make NFC payments with my card, even though I’ve installed the GPay module
is anyone else having the same problems as me? thanks!

Thanks for the last Garnet update! Smooth as always, only one irritating thing which I am not sure if it came up some updates before, but nevertheless worth to mention and ask for an explanation here:
When booting the device, it comes up with the bootloader screen
"Mi - powered by android" and after a while the "hyper-os" boot animation (3 bottom dots) comes for a few seconds. ooops, screen goes black. Reboots, Mi screen, animation, sim pin, all fine. Puuhh, lucky again.
what is it? Am I alone with that?
