Can you say if in 9.12.27 the problem with the gray status bar, when opening an app, persists? And if Netflix video is working?

(1) yes, 9.12.27 was in fact the first ROM with the "grey bar" bug on my raphael. This was also the reason I eagerly wanted the new ROM, just to find out that 20.1.2 was wayyyyyy worse.
(2) I don't use Netflix, so: no idea. But when I recall all the whining about Netflix on raphael, it certainly isn't a new problem in 20.1.2.

If it's same as Mi 9T (not "Pro"), you can try to install 9.12.5 update and backup/save "/vendor/lib/liboemcrypto.so" and "/vendor/lib64/liboemcrypto.so" (with root + Solid Explorer app or TWRP File Manager) then install 20.1.2 and replace these two files.

Hey.. while waiting for Mi9 ROM to download on my superslow internet.. in the meantime, is cepheus also now on L3 after flashing? 20.1.4 will be my first .eu rom - currently still on 11.0.6.0 EEA.

mine works without any problem - also clean flash on mi 9 lite coming from eu stable 11.3.4.0

This is the one i use, without any miscbin file,or anything extra, just the twrp image file flashed with Xiaomi tool v2 and use it to install Xiaomi.eu rom no problems

Or just Google twrp for cc9 and use the android 10 version form xda,i never installed any vmbmeta.img

Mi9 user here: im on latest beta and the grey status bar bug when opening apps is still here, however the lockscreen flickering is gone, as well as the netlflix black screen bug. Widevine has changed from l1 to l3 tho

Something wrong with the camera app. If I open from lock screen it crashes. Than I have to wipe data, after it works. From menu or AI button it works but from the lock screen it crashes.

Mi9 here also: native camera app is crashing, although *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* works nicely. Widevine is still L3.

Mi9 dirty flashed, Magisk 20.2 installed - everything seems to be working just fine (even the native camera when started from lock screen on any other way)

Whether a device has L1 or not depends on the ROM, not the device. So technically, your device should not have L1 since our builds are based on China ROM, which only supports L3. We don't have a workaround for that yet.

as i have mention it few times already that this rom rom is based on china rom and it will never have an L1 but they are not listening....

maybe now they will stop crying here now because you(the devs) now is the one who answered it in a nice way lol...
