found another bug on Mi 10 Ultra: multimedia audio plays at max level after reboot, fixed by adjusting volume slider

To use Magisk lastest version 21.1
You never experienced suddenly reboot to fastboot and then the message in twrp that there is no OS installed? I had that when I tried the Android 11 Stable ROM and I’m scared this will happen again.

Using custom kernel or magisk modules?

Mi 9T Pro ll Tapatalk
I thank you for the answer. I don't use alternative kernels, but I have some magisk modules installed

I await your feedback and thanks again for your interest.

As an alternative, I have activated the 'Press and hold the Power button for 0.5s to turn on Google Assistant'.
This is under Settings / Additional Settings/ Button shortcuts / (System Control).
I actually did the same as well before even reading your post!

Hi. I just bought a Mi 10 Pro with Xiaomi.Eu rom, 20.9.24 and TWRP 3.4.2b-0623 by wzsx150 installed. Can I do a dirty installation of xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10Pro_20.12.2_v12-11.zip.

I still can not install Magisk on my MI10 because TWRP show "Internal Storage 0mb" and do not recognize OTG either
I also tried twrp-3-4-2b and still the same problem

Im in eu.weekly 20.11.25, if i want go back to 20.11.18, only with a dirty flash can i do it?

Greetings xiaomi eu forum,
Soon I'm gonna have mi 10 (waiting for it to arrive) and till then I'm checking the forums.

I'd like to make a suggestion (or maybe more than one) for a future release:

I've noticed that mi 10 and many other devices seem to capture screenshots in .jpg format intsead of .png (probably unless it's a scroll screenshot). From my other phone, I've taken about 150,000 screenshots (yep, it's ~an ocean), but almost all of them are in png. Png is (supposedly) a lossless foramt, thus better, especially if you wanna use your pics afterwards.
That's why I'd like to ask if it would be possible, in the next updates, to add a setting where the user can choose between jpg and png formats when taking screenshots (I think samsung and some others already have this, https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/04/19/how-to-save-screenshots-as-png-on-samsung-galaxy-phones/). It would be very useful. I've found out that I could use third party apps instead to capture screenshots in png, but I think it would be better if it was done from the ui itself.

Also, on the same topic, I'd like to suggest 2 more features:

1)A specific setting, where the user will have the ability to determine the naming scheme of the screenshots.

2)Another one where the system adds some extra info in the properties of the screenhsots (not on the name-title tag, but in another section, maybe in the comment "tag") of the pics, specifying the app from which the pics were taken. It could help sorting them aftwerwards, especially if you have many like me. Firefox has made an app doing this (haven't managed to try it out), maybe you could check it out and intergrate it somehow (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.screenshot.go). Then the gallery of the phone will be able, if asked by the user, to sort the pics in the screenshot folder according to the source of the pics (this sorting option should probably be able to be turned off, because if somebody tries to find one by the date and not the program it may slow down the process).

Hope I made some good suggestions (tell me if I should submit this somehwere else).

Thanks in advance

what is the best way to update my Xiaomi Mi 10 device?

TO disable fingerprint, passcode. And then I can do the update.
Or to install TWRP one more time and then to update my device.

People who can assist on this request?
What I did was disable fingerprint and pass code then update

Is the issue with Dual apps still present? On umi Android 11

Mi 9T flashed OK. all working well w/o issues.
battery status reshaped (again) showing now full time since last charge; but with alignment issues & text labels unequally allocated - is it a bug or is due to translation ?
red bullet misaligned and last text label/ description not on 2 rows (like 1st one) that makes the middle one brake incorrectly...
all other are OK. Thanks' EU team for great job !

I can enter into TWRP but no luck getting into system, stuck on yellow POCO logo, any suggestions?
How people go to twrp in this version? I have a poco F2 and my phone dont pass POCO screen...
Both of you ..
Download this twrp .. https://mifirm.net/downloadtwrp/148
Extract and take the recovery 0623 img file , rename to twrp and put it in your adb folder ..
Enter fastboot , connect your phone and write ..
fastboot devices ( device recognition )
fastboot boot twrp.img
Now twrp will load and you can flash the rom ..
DO NOT use flash command for safety , just the command i wrote...

many problems on minote10
1: at every restart the sounds are deactivated
2: the bottom of the screen no longer responds if google assistant is active
3: Footprint animations are reduced to 4
5: if you have a widget on the left and swipe right to go to "google discover" it does not immediately respond to the command but you have to swipe several times
