The optimum method to update umi is through using Fastboot. If you are happing using Fastboot, then it will be easy for you. If you do not want to go with the weekly Beta ROMs, then you could look at the Stable (ie. bug-free) ROM. Have a browse through recent threads to see what happens.

Whichever you decide upon, you will find that with a combination of Android 11, and the innovations of the xiaomi.eu development team using Miui 12.3 (soon to become 12.5), this would be, certainly, the best ROM available anywhere.

holy cow this weekly is magic! on my mi 10 ultra i had like 100/256gb used of storage that i always suspected were too much for 1 month usage... now i have confirmation of my suspect, after this update they become 45/256gb... how is it possible?? all my data still here of course

Same thing. 150gb down to 50gb with this update

[Mi 9T] dual app bug where apps will crash when you have dual apps enabled has finally been fixed.

My homebank app is crashing in dual app.

i flashed it from twrp rebooted recovery an new was installed
then i flashed
new rom 20.12.10 over 20.10.22
an all worked no problems

Steps to install that twrp? I can't seem to get mine working

I don't think that it matters which version of 3.4.2b - 0623 or 1206. If you want to use either of these, you have to boot into it from Fastboot:
fastboot boot [twrp.img]
I can find no difference between the functioning of both of there - 0623 or 1206.
You must not flash 3.4.2b-0623 into recovery memory.
You can leave 3.4.0 in recovery memory, and still use (fastboot boot ....) either of the 3.4.2b.

Problem with mi 10 pro


Since the update ( 20.12.2 ) I have the problem that when I mark emails or want to mark them as "read"...the taskbar at the top disappears. This is very annoying and disturbing.

For those who have K30 Pro/Poco F2 Pro (lmi) here how I did my clean installation (no problems for now, very stable):

TWRP (TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-REDMI_K30PRO-CN-wzsx150)

1) Upload ROM to device
2) Boot into TWRP
3) Tap the mount button
4) Mount ALL available partitions
5) Tap the Home button and then tap tap the Install button
6) Browse to and select the firmware ZIP file
7) Swipe the arrows to begin the installation
8) Tap the Home button
9) Tap the Wipe button
10) Tap the Advanced Wipe button
11) Select the Data, Cache, Internal Storage, and Dalvik partitions. DO NOT SELECT/WIPE SYSTEM!
12) Swipe the arrows to begin the wipe process
13) Tap the Reboot System button
14) Wait for the Redmi K30 Pro or POCO F2 Pro to reboot back into TWRP
15) Tap the Wipe button
16) Tap the Format Data button
17) Type in "yes" and confirm
18) Then tap the Reboot System button again

Be patient while the Xiaomi EU MIUI ROM sets everything back up
