That's normal at first boot after you update.

Something I'm missing about this behavior? It's a little annoying, but I could live with that.

It's never been that long with me. The first boot after installing the new ROM can take a few minutes, but after that, as soon as the Miui logo finishes its animation, the lockscreen page comes up. I use the system launcher, no real extra apps, and 12 apps on autostart.

Yes - restarted it again. 47 seconds to shut down and get back to the lockscreen page.

Good for you, Lavender took 10 mins in a restart. Anyway, I don't wanna sound rude or intense about this, I could living with this.

Have you tried a factory reset? or cleared the Dalvik and cache, and deleted the data/system/package_cache folder?

Redmi Note 8 feedback:
Installs and runs fine with a dirty install, geoanto555 TWRP and wile of Cache/Dalvik.

Changes noticed:

• The overly optimistic RAM indicator is fixed so it actually shows the actual available RAM now. The available RAM is still low as before so do not expect multitasking miracles.
• The phone feels smoother there might be a new launcher version or something

Problems:

• Mi Cloud is broken - backup finishes with a network connection error. It is reported in the Bugs section.

Pretty much that is all I have observed so far.

There are only two visible changes, WLAN Assistant and Galerie Cloud Sync, but the system runs smoothly.
Only the Google search bar is still bugged. The Xiaomi AI icon is still displayed

Hello first time user here (mi 10 ultra), i managed to unlock the bootloader and flash this rom for the first time quite easily with zero issues, now whilst searching the forum i found out about the navigation issue with third-party launchers in advance which is fine i downloaded the fluid gesture app that has been recommended by a lot of people but the option to Hide full screen mode indicator is no longer there and the bar at the bottom is not allowing me to truly swipe from the bottom when using fluid gestures as they sit ontop of that bar... So is this a bug or just a bad flash maybe? Or how its supposed to be? I searched the forums but only found posts on older miui versions. If someone could assist that would be brilliant thanks in advance

I had problem with aptX in previous rom. It can pair with earphones normally and shown aptX sign.

but all audio just doesn't play. Only heard clicking noise.

Is the issue resolve now? I'm currently on stable rom and don't have time to try yet.
