Hi, dirty flash... From official rom?
I'm under miui 12.0.4 (QFKEUXM) and I'm newbee.
I'm affraid to format my phone.
Is it possible to dirty flashing from my rom?
NO !
When you came from stock MIUI you must format [BGCOLOR=rgb(0, 0, 0)]/data[/BGCOLOR] partition to be able to flash custom rom and have no bootloop !
for that you use latest TWRP for Mi9T and from wipe menu select format /data and type yes to confirm. this will erase all your apps and data so you should do a backup first - if needed.
after format data you must reboot to recovery to enable MTP, that will allow you to access and copy the rom file (and all other needed files) to /sdcard and flash this version of weekly MIUI 12.5 / 21.2.3 using same TWRP.
you have all procedure in post #1 & #2 of this thread...

Well, got my mi10 two weeks ago and didnt do lots of work on it as i was just waiting for bootloader unlock.
Didnt do much with it but i was happy to see that when selecting text (ie in browser) i got a magnifying effect like iphone has it.

Now with unlocked bootloader and after flashing current weekly this nice feature is lost and i cant find a way to (re)enable it.

Any ideas?

I would say this version has the best battery life for Mi 9T. Snappy performance. Only issue is i cannot connect to wifi while using a bluetooth device. Strange. Has anyone faced this issue?
Welp MI 9T here and this is probably one of the worst updates I've had. Guess it's different for everyone in a way.

Both VoLTE and VoWiFi are working great on my Mi10Pro.

Open Modem test tools by using *#*#663368378#*#* code in dialer > Open MBN config loading and activing tool > select mbn_eea.txt for SW MBN > tap on validate > wait some secs for update.

See attached screenshot

That fix is not even relevant to you, Mi 11 doesn't have alternative MBN lists, and your issue doesn't have anything to do with it since you already have VoLTE and VoWiFi. We don't have any information regarding this issue, but users also reported it with other devices.

Yesterday I set up the phone in a hurry and that was the best solution to try. If it's any help for resolving the issue by this development team, I had the same problem on oneplus 8 and the only working solution was that I set in PDC over PC connection to comercial volte dtc profile instead of the default one.

Hello, guys! Can anyone please help with that odd issue — Mi 9 Lite, MIUI 12.5 by Xiaomi EU 21.2.3, and I got black notification bubbles from Telegram and only during in-app incoming calls. Please see the attachments. All other apps work well. Any ideas — what's wrong?

PS I tried a full reinstall SW from the scratch: MiFlash + Global 12.0.5 then TWRP + MIUI 12.5 by Xiaomi EU, no result.

You mean this? (Mi 10, latest rom.)

Doesn't help us in any way. We don't build modem image from source, nor can we modify MBNs in any way. You may want to report to Xiaomi.

I have a question regarding OrangeFox Recovery - when I flash a Xiaomi.eu ROM, after the flashing is complete, OrangeFox says "Beginning OrangeFox Process" and then proceeds to flash my boot image as well as vendor/fstab - I have checked in settings and even if I have all options under OTA unchecked, it still does this "OrangeFox Process" - what exactly is it doing to my boot img and vendor partition? TWRP does not have this behavior

OrangeFox doesn't harm your device...
This process is for keeping OrangeFox in the recovery partition. ;)

EDIT: And also auto-apply a fix if you disabled ROM encryption (to be able to boot).

You can use CustoMIUzer as well for that:

Well, customiuizer might work for mi 9, but I ~haven't managed to make it work on mi 10 (@Ratzfatz you may wanna know this too) probably because customiuizer isn't ~completely compatible with android 11. Geoorg tried to help me make it function, but still it ~doesn't... Hmm, @Iain_B or anyone else with a mi 10, have you manage to make it work? (I ~like how almost every time I ask mi 10 users I @mention IainB, maybe I should stop doing this :emoji_laughing:.)

@Blastboom Strice:
The screenshots are from my MI10 UMI :) it was a longer journey to get this "%3/()$-Tool" working with SafetyNet = OK.
About three times I found my phone back in fastboot ....

This are the files I have used:

34917

and of course:

34916

PS: There might be something wrong with your keyboard. Every second letter is a "~ ". Perhaps you have to clean it

Thank you very much for your quick response! I guess that makes sense, although TWRP doesn't seem to do this and OrangeFox only does it with MIUI ROMs, it would seem. I realized last night that the settings for disabling encryption do not work for this ROM - however I believe the .zip for dmverity and decryption will work - going to test again tonight

You should not restore "settings" from cloud, you can restore apps/contacts/etc. if you want. ;)
Thankyou. Is there any way i can open the sound & touch now in settings? Since it just quits the settings app when i try to open it. :)
