Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question.

Now, I am currently on Xiaomi.EY Weekly Ver. 22.6.15 Beta and I would like to update to the latest version but when I downloaded the update package the file structure is entirely different than it used to be. So, after reading this thread I understand that I need to install TWRP on my Mi11 (venus) since I don't have any TWRP on my phone right now. So my questions are:

- Can I update my phone from EU 22.6.15 to the latest version, without deleting the data on my phone like texts, call records, etc?
- Do I need to have the TWRP for all updates onwards?
- I can't find an updated guide on how to install the latest TWRP on Mi11, I would appreciate it if someone could send me a link to the guide

Thanks :)
I have same question ⁉️

I have same question ⁉️
I cant also find any proper instructions, or link how to Flash Twrp. The devs assume everyone knows. There is a high risk to brick the phone if you do wrong step(I already did once and I had to pay Some Russian 50€ to unbrick it online) Fastboot was already working for me weekly without a problem. I know TWRP is simpler, but I have no idea how it works on this A/B slot phones like Star. Why cant the Devs provide links for both Fastboot and TWRP of the same ROM. They just switch and wish you good luck bricking or not bricking your Phone. Please can some provide Proper steps.. and does it mean data is lost with TWRP method?

Something must have happened to my TWRP, I downloaded the recovery update for my Poco F3 but when it rebooted it went to MIUI Recovery, not TWRP, not sure what happened.

Can I still Fastboot update the phone or do I have to update by Recovery and TWRP only?

I just done update Mi11

here is the exact step
1. copy twrp.img to your pc & phone
2. copy rom zip file to your phone
3. fastboot command: fastboot boot twrp.img (from PC)
4. Install Image -> choose twrp.img & install into recovery ramdisk (from phone)
5. reboot into recovery again by using the TWRP main menu
6. install rom zip (from phone)
7. reboot to system

In Poco F3. SD card files do not load in TWRP recovery. I used ADB sideload and it worked perfectly.
Musta mga kababayan!

I have problem updating the ROM with the error message show in the image.
My Device is Mi 11 Pro
boot with fastboot boot twrp.img
I tried both Pattern and Passcode to unlock the device, still show the same error message when I try to update the ROM.
What I have done wrong? Thank you very much.

Poco F3 here.
Just want to confirm instructions before I do it.

1) fastboot boot twrp.img
2) Install TWRP
3) do we need to wipe any partitions? I think i had to when i installed twrp for android 10/11
backup everything so we don't lose data?
4) Download ROM.zip into root directory
5) Reboot into TWRP
6) Install ROM

Instructions for A/B equipment ( All devices before Mi 11 era (except Mi 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro Global iirc) are non-AB).

Updates via TWRP:
- Insert the ROM into the phone.
1. Download TWRP to PC and rename it to twrp.img https://dl.akr-developers.com/?dir=skkk/TWRP/A12/v3.7_A12
2. Run TWRP fastboot command
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
3. Install ROM
4. Reboot system

How to change the language in TWRP.
Hi, twrp need extract first?

After current update, Cellular network vanishes until I restart my phone. Will, flashing last week's update be harmful ? (downgrading)
