I use my Mi5s in the Netherlands on the KPN network. I have decent 4G coverage in big cities, but because the Mi5s does not have band 800/20 often it switches back to 3g. Not a problem at all, so far. However, on 3G the internet connection often drops. This happens at least once an hour, and lasts for about 3 to 4 minutes. Then I'm back online. I generally have full bars, and I live in Amsterdam so it's not likely a coverage problem. It's been like this ever since I got the phone (about 6 weeks ago)
Things I've tried:
- restarting phone - didn't work
- switching from finding network automatically, to setting it to one - no difference
- switching from 4g tot 3g as preferred network - no difference
- turned off all battery saving functionality - no difference
- EDIT: changed SIM to another slot - no difference
Any suggestions as to the cause (and solution?)
