Xiaomi mipad updated, scroll has become slow and performance has decreased to half. Several antutu benchmarks give no more than 23 thousand points, i was geting constant 39 before update.

MIUI 6 will first be tested by 1000 beta tester, and the team will grow to 10000 people by August 22. MIUI 6 developer version will be open to public in the beginning of September. By the end of 2014, Xiaomi Mi 2/2S/2A, Redmi devices and Redmi Note will start testing.

sorry for the ot, but can i ask you one thing about this: in the official forum i see the thread for recruiting 100 beta testers, not 1000.. do you know why they say now 1000 beta testers will first test it?

ps. also, when you are testing it, do you think you can share impressions on it or this will break the miui rules? (i am especially interested in rom responsiveness, battery life and ram management, so basically raw performances rather than aesthetics..) thanks!

Sounds like something went wrong then, no such issues here. 40.546 before and 40.906 after the update...

i don't have v6 unfortunately, but i think it is possible to install like weekly updates.
then if there are any problems at boot (bootloops etc) wipe cache + dalvik is maybe needed. finally, if boot problems still persist, then wipe data should fix them.
just my guess of course!!

Click on orange box make sure your in desktop mode in web browser and it will download it's English and Chinese only only for i9505

I updated my MI3TD and now it does not find my sim card.
So I downgraded i again to the previos version and everthing working fine.

as per miui statements, v6 will be available for public in the beginning of September (for mi3 and mi4 i guess). so only after that time translated version can start i think

I'm guessing you'll start seeing very early ports in about 3 weeks. Although by the looks of it it'll be developer code so may be very buggy.

Tengo un mi3w.
El WiFi va cada vez mas lento . no pasa de 6mb
El sistema operativo igual cada vez mas lento.
El sonido cada vez mas bajo y de pero calidad.
Mikey hace todo menos lo mas básico bloquear el teléfono .....
Cada vez hay menos memoria libre.....
Estoy bastante defraudado......

La aplicacion en inglés tiene un bug que no bloquea el tlf, bajate la china del xiaomi market y esa si funciona, bloquea y desbloquea el tlf.
No tengo problemas con lo demás.
