Any Redmi 2 users out here?
Please check the bugsection. The problem with Whatsapp has been confirmed by my sister-in-law.

Perhaps I should load the original Miui ROM and test the bugs, so I can place the bugs at Miui.com.
I don't want to use that ROM, because this EU ROM is simply better.
Here I am, still with 5.1.23. I think they're going to rebuild the new one.

What is the difference firmware from this site - http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/5-1-30.26910/
and
site http://miui.su/obzor-obnovleniya-miui-5-1-30

On xiaomi.eu says that the firmware is localized using the site miui.su, but it is not one and the same firmware, because different size.
It turns out that xiaomi.eu took only translation but not the actual firmware from the site miui.su
What is the difference data in the availability of firmware bugs, pre-garbage, etc.

If anyone knows, please answer!

we use only translation from miui.su... now you have a choice which ROM you want to use...

Because that link was created a long time ago referring to the first v6 beta released on 2014-09-19. The device has to be repartitioned to become compatible with KitKat, so you have to flash some fastboot v6 beta, which is going to repartition your device properly. You can use the latest v6 beta, since it is being updated almost weekly. Perhaps there could be some small advantage gained by using the latest version, in the case some of the smaller partitions are not be updated by the multilanguage version, but I cannot be sure of that, since I have not really checked how exactly the multilanguage update works. In the following links, watch the actual release dates.

Thanks for the detailed explanation @loko! Does anyone mind showing me a mount or df output of their Mi2S MIUI v6 SE, so I can see how different the partition tables look compared to v5? Quite curious to see what the difference is...

After the transfer you change the firmware?
I think you don't know what "firmware" is...
The roms are different which is obvious.
We add translations to chinese roms but also do tons of changes and fixes in rom files and apps.

But why make a ton of changes? Why can not leave the original, but only add translation?

No... Why we would do that? Of course if particular function is Chinese only we block it. If it's able do work as global then we enable it's global function and block Chinese.
