Seems to be as simple as a problematic index, but my problem is that I don't have the faintest idea where that piece of code resides
Any idea on which source code I could check for this? My background used to be C, not Java, but I guess I could decipher a couple of bits...

Here all is fine,including new features of camera.Battery seems amazing.I must say I made a clean installation, with full wipes and format system 1 and 2 because I was trying some different ROMs.MI3w.Thanks for your work!
So here's a question for all Mi2(s) users already on the latest v6 Lollipop;
Is the functionality on par with latest v5 rom? Is there important stuff that doesn't work right in v6 Lollipop? Does bluetooth work without problems? I need my phone to hook up to my carkit without a hitch.

Sounds complex after all...
For the fun of it though, is it possible for me to view the contents of the source file somehow on Git? Haven't used code versioning tools since RCS
I try 3 times download update 5.5.22 and still same error, first time I was updating from 5.5.11 and did not make a backup my redmi 1 was bricked. Must do a restore stock firmware, now Im back on 5.5.11. So nobody else have same problem (or dont have anymore redmi 1
).I was abroad (France) last week and outgoing calls appeared normally in the calls list with name/number of called person, back in Belgium outgoing calls are shown as unknown with 5.5.8.
Today with 5.5.22 outgoing calls are displayed as unknown number.

Interesting! My son's phone (1+1) is running Lollipop 5.0.2 (CM version while mine-MIUI version), using the same carrier as my phone uses and has no "unknown number" issue. Speaking about your case it seems related neither to MIUI, nor to the ROM, nor to Lollipop. What is the reason? Maybe the carrier?

Probable a mix of both, ROM because had no problems before with KitKat, and carrier.

I got the same model and the same problem!
Aparently, the only way to fixed it is select manually the network operator instead of automatic.

And how is the proximity sensor during a call? After 3-4 calls he dont shuth down screen. In bulgarian translation.

For the money (earned very hard) I could have bought second hand LG G2, Samsung S4 or else... Instead I bought Redmi 2 HM2014811, disappointed I am just waiting every week for new Rom to make the change I've expected since I own this brick. No reference from me at all.
UI bug in calculator app on Stable 6.5.2.0 for Redmi 2 (2014813).
The button to change to scientific calculator function in the top left is positioned incorrectly and is too close to the top where the battery and signal bars are, sometimes causing the button not to work or the notification drawer to be pulled down. This isn't occurring on the official ROM so please fix. I have attached a screenshot.
