Im in china dev 6.1.7 and planning to flash libra. Do i need to do anything important like partition something like that or just wipe and flash?

Make also a virus check, test 360 from Play Store, I have installed a new RN2, it contained malware!

me too.......with 5.12.31 all ok but 6.1.7 and 6.1.14 mi pc suite stop at 30%. I have posted the bug also in en.miui.com forum

Of course. Download rom file and into the updater app press ... and choose...

That's like flashing the ROM through Recovery Mode. What I'm asking is can I just press 'Check For Updates' button and it will download the rom itself like Official MIUI does?

OTA updates are available few days later and if you're not in a hurry, you can wait.

If you can't wait, then download rom file.

You can't just flash an older version of a ROM over a new one without wiping data.
