Tengo un problema, tengo instalado en mi xiaomi mi4 la rom 6.1.21 pero en permisos root no hay ninguna app y tendría que estar twrp manager. No me permite dar permisos root a ninguna aplicación. Ayuda?

6.0.1 installed on my mi4 , detected bugs daily lockscreen crashes therefore not usable , I can not change the background of chat whatsapp because it gives access to the tunnel or another and I can not change the picture profile , many open processes in the cache type maps and others even if do not start , I hope will resolve .thanks

Anyone having a problem with gmail? Suddenly stopped working, i think xiaomi should have waited some more time testing M before release, i am switching to my other phone till the update, hope it will make different

You know that was your decision to update to M version right?
And that you can revert to previous rom right?

I don't actually know why did you reply to my post, you didn't add any value to me or others who might have the same problem.

Answering your question, yes it was my decision but if i knew that it will turn my favorite phone to the one I have now i wouldn't update it.

I don't think i insulted anyone or offended anyone by my post to get such reply from you, it is also everyone right to critcise positively, and I didn't criticis the developers because I really appreciate their work and it's not in their hands, i just critcised the company itself.

I think they did good. If no update it's a problem if they update it's a problem the same for a lot of you (with really few bugs , if you see other Roms as cyanogen 13 there's a lot of bugs, random reboots ecc so it's not daily usable and Mi 4 is out since one year and half and more). Even the official update of Samsung, Apple ecc have lots of problems too...
I think they can improve Rom but as I read it's already very nice

It is anyone decision to update and most important point you can revert to previous roms
So if you don't like the M update, you can revert to previous rom and wait for more bug free M rom.

I must say that I'm not that satisfied with the latest update.
Chrome and few other apps may FC couple of times during the day.

Ok man it's ok, thanks for the explanation, that's what exactly i will do, phone is really critical to my work, and i can't rely on this version so far. Still will report any bugs

No I am using gmail and inbox by gmail ,no problems.. latest miui mm.. Try give permission to all google stuff (google play services,google play store etc and gmail) and delete data/cache for gmail

no..If u have problems with mobile data, try change APN..latest rom has latest baseband (modem) driver so that is actually good for network

Because that is bug, and when u turned it off, no gapps fc anymore

Thanks for your answer. I asked it because before this I'm using the global beta rom here in Malaysia. After using this rom it seem I can't get LTE network, only got 3g. I'll try reseting the APN later. Thanks again.

Hi all. Updated my MI4 on Saturday and had some issues. The mobile data was quite slow and Skype didn't work on Data, just on wifi. Uninstalling or clearing cache didn't help.
The issue I found was that after the update, the phone switched its APN from Internet to WAP. Switched back to Internet and all is well.
Hope this helps anyone with similar issues.

Yes, we do have news for every devices that encounter an issue, except for Leo which has a defective Wi-Fi... Us, the few owners, have to wait until next friday or a corrected version is rolling out???
