hi all. faced with a problem: flashed the phone, launched the camera app, put the quality of shooting video at 4K and left. when I went to the camera app again, it turned out that the settings went back to default. who faced with similar?
Which phone?
I tested it as you wrote but with Kate it is ok. 4k setting of video stays at 4k after restart of camera app.

Installed on my Kate without any problem (installed rom, superSU 2.78 and xposed framework in one step).
Till now all seems to be ok.
Because of battery drain I blocked logd process in last rom. I had to redo this. Logd was active again.

Big thanks to xiaomi.eu!
What is logd and how did you disable it?

With GSam Battery Monitor I could see, that system process "logd" eeats much battery (was on top of the list, which app/process uses how much battery, nearly 30%). After asking google I found a tip how to deactivate, because this process should be not absolute necessary. So I tried it out and battery drain become better.

I did the following steps:
- FULL BACKUP with TWPR before
- in TWRP mounting system partition
- in TWRP open file manager
- in file manager go to /system/bin/logd
- rename logd (in my case I renamed to logd.bak)
- restart phone

I do not know if it is necessary in 6.11.17 but in 6.11.10 it helped (with Kate). You can check with GSam Battery Monitor before, if logd is there and eats much battery.

Thank you! Also using KATE. I will have an eye on that. Good Info....

I'm curious why the Chinese assistant does not get removed from the European rom..
