Kenzo - flashed the reuploaded rom. The FC problems were solved and fingerprint is very much improved, but the battery drains like hell

Betterbatterystats says that msm_otg is keeping my phone awake 90% of the time (i am now 24h off charger, 3h of sot and 21% battery ).
The only thing I could find on google were some samsung issues people had when charging their phones via USB to PC. I have charged my phone the "normal" way so that couldn't be the issue... Anyone has any advice?

Reuploded version on redmi 3, weather working, Gmail working but after some standby not syncing. I get mail just manual refresh Gmail, same weather, not automatic update

Same thing for me.
And I have the same problem when I returned to 11.17 version. I don't understand what can I do to sync gmail and widget calendar (this one works on 11.17 and not on 11.24).

Download reloaded version, install and wipe cache/dalvik it should work fine. I had to do it twice, but it works as it should.

After second time it helped. no FC on Gmail.

Yeah it is officially fixed already but not too stable...weather sometime refresh sometime not...imo still better to use rebuilt one

it's said "couldn't connect to network"

No different. It was modified in order to get it work for you as the original one did not work due to certificate issue with weather api xiaomi server

Download flashable rebuilt weather zip version and install it via TWRP recovery (some post above you)
Then allow location permission for weather app

There is no guarantee tweaked app picking data without security https will still work in the near future....

I mean tweaked app as temporary solution until official fix become stabilized. We can notice easily when the tweaked app won't picking data anymore from http...
Anyway flashing ROM at next release will be restore original apk...
