i had this problem before. 17.11.16
i couldnt do anything. if you skip this massage a black screen will apeare and says Phone Locked!!!
just flash another rom and wait for next update....

but i cannot sign in .. it shows before i try to log in ... and cannot login, cannot skip ... didn't try without internet.
 
chromecast screen mirroring connects and disconnects immediately with this version on my MI2S.
Any ideas?

I've had the same issue for the last 3 xiaomi eu rom-s...
 
Can someone to tell me when it comes stable 8 based on MM for RN3SD?
And the new panorama maker, which is built in dev rom will it stable rom?
I'm very curious. But your multi-rom is not bad either! Thank you!

I get the same issue regardless of whether or not I sign into my Mi account.

Edit: Logged into i.mi.com and unlocked my device from there which worked when connected over 3G.

I am on Redmi NOte 3 SD
I have another problem myself, i tried flashing either 6.11.17 or 24 via twrp recovery, directly from fastboot 7.1.8 rom, unofficial unlocked bootloader. The problem is the settings app crashes and the device reboots when trying to uninstall an application.

i read on MIUI forums this has something to do with partition, do i need to tweak boot.img or something else?

Setting app crashed for me when I flashed the hacked bootloader, I solved it by flashing the original bootloader, our bootloader will be locked after this, try to get the official unlock and problem settled

you are probably right. I actually received official approval today : what i did :
-Flashed latest miui devrom via fastboot to relock the bootloader
-boot the rom, follow all instructions to unlock official
-installed latest globalrom 11.24 (based on xiaomi.eu)

All is working now..settings, uninstalling, logging to miui.com..
 
Installed on redmi note 4 and so far have better battery life and everything works fine

Bug xiaomi. Install bluemail from play store
 
Mi Max 64GB. Mobile data internet always becomes dead after coming out of poor/no signal area, eg car park. Cannot recover from it except reboot.

If you have root you can try lte discovery to reset modem without reboot

Mi 5 Pro user on 6.11.10 dev rom in English language.
(I am only posting the bug here because the update for my model has been suspended for two weeks.)
DND fails intermittently and plays sounds on calls and notifications out loud.
I don't wanna set my phone to "Silent" for all my Fitbit notifications are diabled in the mode.
I have to set on Custom mode to apply to all calls and notifications.
How come there is "None" option under Exceptions, and why would anyone select "All" exceptions in DND mode?

just updated my Mi4 LTE
Everything is fine but the issue with the Google Assistant.
After few minutes/hours it is automatically being replaced by the default Chinese one.
It is very annoying.
Could you please remove it from future versions?
