forgive my noob question...but now that I am on 6.12.8 and I want to go to the newest version 6.12.22 do I install the rom onto my phone, enter twrp and flash or install. I want to keep everything as is as far as apps etc, just install the newest rom.

I had a rooted MI5S on previous 6.12.8 ROM. After updating to 6.12.22 my phone is not Rooted any more. Do i new to install SuperSU every time after each Weekly update to be able to root the phone?

@GerNav Even though SuperSU is sytemless, it still modifies the boot image. Flashing the rom overwrites that image so a reflash of supersu and any custom kernels is required!

Thanks for the reply. Is there any workaround to avoid having to reflash after each update?

Hi.
Just update for my my MI Mix, after reboot, I feel it quite longer time reboot then previous once. when I install the mode change the o'clock to center on status bar, via TWRP, it freeze on reboot screen.

@GerNav No workaround is needed! When you flash the rom through TWRP, just add an action to flash SuperSU as well at the same time. Which is why I always use TWRP to do it and not the updater app.

It's not a bug, you don't need any fix.
Xiaomi enabled MPdecision hotplug for battery saving.
When 2 big cores are not needed they sleep.
And you need the big cores active when you play, mostly.

Security patches are different for every phone. SO relax, will be updated in further updates !

edit: with apply patches phone is rock solid. Battery is improved a lot.

Hi..
I bought a redmi note 3 pro with 2gb/16gb from GB. It comes with MIUI 8 Global 8.0 LHOMIDG and says its model redmi note 3... Tho using AIDA64 it states as redmi Note pro with SD 650...

Should it be safe to flash Redmi NOte 3 Pro version of this ROM? I'm confused since here i see diferent rom versions for RN3 pro, RN3 and RN3 SE...

and using fastboot command it seems the booloader is already unlocked tho i applied for unlock and the tool fails saying there's nothing to do on this device

When I open the stack with the Menu button, I can't swipe the first app on the stack (most left) upwards, it stucks and is not removable like it was locked. I think the problem occured a while after I locked WhatsApp for the first time.
