For what I know you can flash a custom kernel only if you've a Mi3 or Mi4 and with a custom rom like mokee, aosp or Ivan....

I could be wrong but consumption and warming is still an issue for me on libra.
today with 30 min navigation turn by turn with g maps battery went down by 30% and phone was as hot as intense real racing playing.
thank you anyway for hard work, i'm only reporting my experience.
anyone else with same problem?

Another random issue is an app called "shell" that drain the battery and the phone become hot.
After a reboot the issue doesn't appear anymore but is very strange

Installed on Redmi Note 2 through TWRP 3.0 successfully. ROM is perfect!
There is no Force Closed error in Settings>Additional Settings.

Version one of the best I installed from October, good battery, the standby consumption is very low

Thanks but the twrp doesn't work. At the first boot it work fine, at the second it is blocked... Why? How can use it?

I've done 2 backups with TWRP in the last month, and today I tried to go there to restore one of them, but TWRP couldn't see any file or folder, whether in SD card or phone... All empty.

Am I missing something? How to restore?

The sense of doing it is to know if the OTA process will work or not.
If you report on first page that OTA will be available this week (or not available this week) I can choose to wait and see if OTA will work or I can choose, as you said, to download the ROM immediately.
BTW, my was only an idea, if you don't like it, don't do it. It is up to you at the end.
