wait for @graw2 eventual feedbackI got my new Mi5 today and I flash 6.6.30 and compass, light sensor, gyroscope and auto rotation doesn’t work everything else working fine. I am so worry if the the phone have a hardware problem. If you find a solution Please report it.

Try to flash 6.6.23 and report back. It is software issue for sure...I made a reboot and the sensors doesn't work again. Hope that is software issue and not a hardware problem as the device is new I am not sure.
How can you say this? Battery and system need a few days to settle down. You can't complain after one day.Also in this version android system and android high battery consumption

I opened cit and this tests are missing from the list and i cant test them all the other test from the list are working great.
Did you reboot after that?For me wipe cache and dalvik via TWRP fixed this issue

Thank you! I flash the 6.6.23 and all sensors are working great. I made some reboots and are still working.Try to flash 6.6.23 and report back. It is software issue for sure...
I got the same problem after reboot and this not happend on 6.6.23.
