Now do I have to flash SuperSU Everytime after upgrading. In previous weekly versions the ROM was pre rooted but why now it's not pre rooted

Edit. It suddenly finished flashing without filling progress bar in about 15 minutes.

Try to reset or repair it with "Proximity sensor reset/repair" from Google Playstore.

Is Redmi 2 2014813 supported? The table in the first page says no (4.4) - will MIUI 8 be released for Redmi 2 TD too?

Redmi 2 2014813 is supported. You have two version of miui 8 rom kitkat(4.4) and lollipop(5.1 android).

Redmi 2 2014813 is called wt86047 under lolipop(5.1 android) development of rom.

Kitkat version of roms have less miui 8 features because of older android version limitations.

This is a known issue of version 6.6.30 for Mi5. There is no solution for it yet. Probably it will be fixed in next week's version so if these are important issues during your everyday usage you should go back to version .23 till next week's version is out. Calibration is not fixing the problem. It has been checked...
