Try and see if deselecting "MIUI optimizations" at the bottom of "developer options" works for this issue. For some reason I could not set Chrome as default browser before doing this.

How strange. It initially didn't work when I turned MIUI optimization off. But it did work when I turned it back on. Would not have thought to do this if not for your suggestion. Many thanks!

Now to wait and see if the Google frameworks crashing and blank Spotify track details problem clears.

SOLVED AFTER MANY FLASHING ATTEPMTS

after succesfully unlocking bootloader i installed twrp.(i used android image kicthen for disabling ,verify)
after that i flased SuperSu, it worked and then i flasehd
xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V7.5.1.0.LAICNDE_v7-5.1.zip

logs are

unmount of / firmwire failed no such volume
unmount of / firmwire failed no such volume
Installing MIUI update
script succed: result was [/crust]
Updating partition details
...done​

now my set is in bootloop.
i can flash twrp in fastboot mode and reflashed that rom,same log, same result. i even wipe data,system,chache,delvic. same result.
help me guys

MI4 random reboots is solved here,
Download the weekly rom
Go to TWRP
Format, Cache, Davik, System, Data
Install new rom
Reboot

After that, setup your phone again and download all your apps again from playstore.

Your SDcard is not formatted so you will not lose all your photos.

How can you say that? In previous roms it could take 5/6 days to occur here you just have a 2 days old install... . If you can let it run on your device at least a few weeks it would be a good info.

It works perfect on my Mi4C.
I should try to reboot. Still not working? Wipe Cache and Dalvik.
Nothing? Re-install it.

Done it all, tomorrow in the office, I wipe system!
Possibly even install the official ROM with Mi flash, unlock and return here in the eu

Hello, I updated (Mi5), so far, the previous bugs (unwanted features) I reported are still here:

• Spotify black on black notification (default theme)
• Web browser: search bar doesn't respond well (if you type fast, only very few letters appear) + no space allowed
• Web browser: "no ads" still not here (unlike in global)
• Icon still have weird random ugly color instead of all white in global

Audio via bluetooth now works, no forced close, no lag, thanks

I am on 6.6.30 on Mi5 with app crashes when deleting files. Is this version stable for Mi5?

Hi guys, i'm using redmi 3 and there is something that's bothering me using this rom from xiaomi.eu.
In browser app, the delete button position on download section is off.
Could it be possibly fixed? It is normal on official rom, btw.
And, in google playstore, the icons seem blurred.

I download the lastest version, put on a folder on my MI-4, and launch the file with the Updater, but I have an error (no more information about that !)...
Same way with TWRP (error number 7), can you help me please ?

I think this is a bug, my mi4 when i rodate the screen fades away, and the symbol stays in the notification bar, i tried to activate and de activate, but nothing work, i cleared cache and Dalvik and nothing work. Thanks

You can disable Mi account, then once every five days as you enable it, and makes you a beckup, may be an option, Mi account works much and consumes battery. It is shame to miss these great features
