Why when we update from Miui 8 Xiaomi.eu to Miui 9 Xiaomi.eu Redmi 3 - Ido and Redmi Note 2 Hermes

Desapire Choose pasm of bands in hidden menu in Redmi 3? Before i can choose example LTE Only, TD-Scdma etc?

In Redmi 3 Ido still we cant choose different clock with weather in widgets? I install few themes from Theme app and i have only 2 default Clocks widget!
Please fix it.

Range 1/2 meters? It's very bad.

this whatsapp bug is too annoying. I decided to go back to the previous update. download the update. within in TWRP recovery. install. then gate dalvik cache and then restart?

New Rom version needed ASAP for Mi Max32gb. I have constant FC of most of my apps if not ALL of them. This version is very bad, please get a new version ASAP!
Also What'sapp and hangout notifications not working at all. You have to have app open in background for notifications to work.

Total opposite of my experiences with Xiaomi devices.
I have two Mi5's and a Mi Mix 2, and have cross-checked their RxLev/RSCP/RSRP measurements against calibration-tested phones for drive-testing, results were +/- 1.5dB for these signal level measurements.

I have a mi mix 2 with previous rom.
My problem is costant: wifi download is too slow (80/300kbps practically always and other devices at 1150/1200kbps).
I can't navigate any site of internet with ads, YouTube buffering at 240p.
I tried everything (static ip, change router) but the problem remains.
I read a lot of similar problems and I also flash a zip to remove the blocks of the miui, but nothing works. Do you have any ideas to solve? Thank you , I write in this thread because the problem persists and the previous one has been closed.

Ps. With mobile data everythings is ok.

Wifi antenna could be broken or partially detached. You should check out the advanced connection parameters with inssider.

I am currently using the stable version MIUI 9.1 on the mi5s, 3GB/64GB and have 3 questions.

1. Is the 9.3 MIUI only different cosmetically from 9.1? Is it any speedier?

2. Are the developer versions faster or noticeably better in any way from the stable version I'm using?

3. When I tried one of the developer versions with MIUI 9.1 I had the following bug:
When I received (or dialed) phone calls, my contacts with Hebrew names (first name [blank space] surname) appeared on screen without the blank space in the names. Can anyone confirm if this is so in this version?

Same here, 3 Redmi Note 2, 1 Redmi Note 3 SD, 1 Mi Max 2 and 1 Mi 5s Plus, all are very good in term of radio signal, within same location, and same Telco company, sometime my family who use samsung's phone radio signal is weaker.

Open google.com, type 'mi 6 android 8' in the search Box, the link should be on the 1st result, but read the title carefully ok, it said Alpha, so you need to prepare for a lot of troubles, and please don't complain the bugs here, it's totally the wrong place.

L'attenuazione è bassa, il segnale va bene. Forse hanno fatto dei cambiamenti al modem. Spegni tutti gli altri dispositivi e verifica ancora. Se non cambia niente, suggerisco di passare alla versione precedente o alla stable e riprovare.

Attenuation is ok, signal too. Maybe Xiaomi changed something modem-related. Shut down every other host and check again. If nothing happens, I suggest you install a previous or stable version.

I tryed 9.0.5.0 stable and 9.0.2.0 i think. And that older worked better..
Global stable 9.0.5.0 even not exist. So install better version and that is not always newest..

Yeah, but some new ugly notification bug found when receiving more than 1 message from same person, 1st msg, 2 notif icons appear, another new msg from the same person, both notif icons disappear...next new msg, 2 nofif icons appear.. and so on...

Hi all,

First time using the ROM and I noticed that whenever I reboot my device it changes my region from Poland to China in Additional Settings. My language is set to English (United States)

Device: Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

Is this a bug or is this due to the ROM being based on the Chinese version?
