I installed the last two ROM versions and i have battery drain issue on my xiaomi mi 5.

I decided to Switch from beta to stable version. Will i lose all my files on phone?!?!?

not experiencing drain with the last two roms. Going to stable is a downgrade so yes you will have to make a backup

Hi,

On mido I'm experiencing dark background on some icons, like Google Duo, Microsoft ToDo... Basically on all not rectangular icons in the system.

Standard MIUI doesn't have that.

Posted several threads her on forum – no reaction. Another user pointed out that it's possible to fix by updating standard icons file. But it should be done by dev team. All manual changes gets overwritten after OTA upgrade.

Can we address that?

Have you tried to change theme?

Of course! And issue disappears, together with animated icons. Which I would love to preserve. It's an awesome feature.

I strongly believe that issue is only for Redmi Note 4x, or maybe limited number of models, because when I had a Mi4 background for not standard icons was always white.

Since I want to have animated standard icons and none standards icons without ugly dark background, I've started fixing icons for these applications and uploading them into miui_mod_icons subfolder, currently, I have several icons to share with the community, they could be useful for Swedish users.

the best source should be inside official MIUI ROM, you can download the rom and extract the modem file easily.
