7.7.6 works fine sofar on Redmi 4x (HM4X).
Also auto-brightness is improved. Seems still bit slow, but much better now.

Can you update the google Apps?

I'm asking, since this doesn't work on my phone. Some Apps are updated like "Cloud Print", "Gboard", "Text-to-Speech". I also could install "Google Now Launcher", "WhatsApp".
But if it comes to the deep system Apps, updates for "Android System WebView", "Google", "Google-Play-Dienste" (might be "play services" in English). It starts with the download but never ends oder installs any of these Apps. I already did clean, fresh install.

Does somebody else have this problem or just me?
