Maybe I found another issue: when I open the gallery from the camera the brightness goes to maximum. It doesn't happen when opening Gallery app

Tnx for the new rom and great work, but PLEASE restore the buttons option on MI6 !!! It is horrible and frustrating when used to the back button on the left to now constantly opening recent apps menu :/

I have the same problem with this last developer ROM, no data, i have Orange and mi5 pro. What could I do?

Fixed in China Dev ROM 7.9.8, hopefully the EU team will release it in the coming days.
Why camera api2 is not included in Miui 9 weekly builds? Is it causing side effect to the system?

If i want to install MIUI 9 with this 7.9.7 , what i need to do ??? ( before i update with zip file inside the phone ) but now , its the new MIUI 9 , maybe i must do something different

Download rom and install on recovery, clean cache anda dalvik cache then reboot.
If you use root, after phone start... Go recovery again to flash supersu zip.

It is safe to say now that there is a bug regarding 7.9.7 and Orange network in Spain. I have seen at least 5 posts by different users across this thread. Any thoughts on this from the devs?

On mi5... Can some user tell me if on silence mode we don't get notifications sound?
And if gave WhatsApp... Can take a picture using front camera and WhatsApp flash (white screen) is working?

But this version 9 , its Android 7 ? - i have android 7 on my mi5
But im noob for phone update. Normally i download the file ( 1 Gb ) , i put it on the memory of the phone, after i go to options ---- update ---- update with file and i select the file. I must do the same ?

Yes is android 7. That's why you can update like that. Normally when Android changes... I do a clean install.
On rom zip files the name says everything.
For mi5 there is latest rom 7.9.8 (is the date) v9 (is miui9) 7.0 (android version).
Read zip file for your phone... There's is all this info there. Hope that you learn something here.
