L.E.2. The reason why this problem did not occur on the other updates is that there were small changes of the same O.S. version. This small changes do not affect your "id" as a completely new OS ...

During Marshmallow to Nougat update there was no Android ID change. So that's NOT the reason, sir.
Quick research shows that Oreo brings a totally new device identifiers policy: https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2017/04/changes-to-device-identifiers-in.html IMHO it should be written on the first page here.

Successful upgrade to Oreo on my Mi6, but Android ID changed. I got warning about it, now my apps that need it (banking etc) stopped working and need re-setup from scratch. Is that Android ID change normal thing or is it a bug?

Had with WhatsApp.
Changed notification sound of WhatsApp from default to other (FadeIn.ogg) and I have sound notifications
Still multiple icons on StatusBar but not a big deal for me

Can confirm the 0.4-0.5A (according to Ampere) claims with stock charger. That is definitely an issue.

Definitely thinking about rolling back to 7.1.1 stable.

The same thing happened to me, the phone charged 0.5A.
I solved it by starting at TWRP, without disconnecting the charging cable, and then started charging at 1.5A (2.5A with the original charger tested later). When restarting the operating system it continued loading to 1.5A and the problem was solved.

Failed to provide an accurate reason but I was right about not being a bug.

Sorry to say that, your logic was not useful enough. Next time try not to insult others, calling names etc. Robert, maybe try harder before you publish any answer on public forum.
Still, my humble opinion is that that Android ID info is suitable enough for the first page - if people read it there, there wouldn't be this misunderstanding.

I found out if i do that switching to video recording crash miui camera.

No, I just add that 1 line to build.prop to enable HAL and original MIUI camera crash or even cant conect to hardware. If remove that 1 line MIUI camere works fine without any problem. But I would like to have them both or even more.
And as I know it's only 4X problem and even not everyone have that problem, so I am afraid we not going getany fix at all

Hi!
I have twrp3.1.1.0 and while I am installing twrp3.2.1.0 it ask me to select partition to flash image. Gives me 3 options: Boot, Recovery and System image. Which one it is the correct option?

mido, updated this morning (dirty flash+magisk 15.2), seems good battery after a workday of use.
40 min waze, 5% battery decrease. Verified adaway works fine with magisk 15.2 at first install. did not try new magisk 15.3.
continue testing ...
