No problems at all with my MAX 2. Fingerprint issues have always happened for me on and off, although not as often with the 2 as with the 1.in the mi max 2 it gives an error when setting the finger. I can not unblock it with the fingerprint. In addition, notifications continue to give problems. A message appears. two messages goes. So already with the passage of the roms is not going either the finger and the notifications in mi max2
I had no problems with the update, device appears to be at usual speed (not stress-tested or played games, so may mean nothing). On Mi Mix 2 I had to Factory reset because the device was slow and I had an FC on network settings. All seems fine now except for not getting to see the quickcharge logo and it is indeed not quickcharging at 721 mA
Yep, confirmed. Only one notification icon per bundled notifications group - I checked the Smali to confirm the changes.double app notification icon in status bar when first message arrives is fixed, but disappearing notification when second message arrives still there...partially fixed so at least one step forward...
How You exmplain that i dont know this bug from 7.1.16 to 18. China DevYep, confirmed. Only one notification icon per bundled notifications group - I checked the Smali to confirm the changes.
Still, they haven't fixed the disappearing notifications bug, which is the more serious issue, and is quite hard to track down.
Because they only seem to disappear in a specific situation:How You exmplain that i dont know this bug from 7.1.16 to 18. China Dev
Magisk 15.3 and adaway works for meHello,
I just installed the new build 8.1.18 of the forum on my Mi Mix 2.
I want to install the Root and install the Adaway app or equivalent.
You advise me which Root (Supersu or Magisk) and which application will work perfectly with the Root.
Is there any harm or differences if we just use the whole framework.jar and framework-res.jar? Since it's easier than to take some files from these files (no need to extract and repack)?Igor Eisberg said:Nah, I just took 3 files from framework.jar, a few files from framework-res.apk and the whole MiuiSystemUI.apk.
That's all I had to transplant to my ROM. I just slightly patched framework.jar and framework-res.apk.
