Installation:

Xiaomi devices:
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • Code: 
    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
  • TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
  • For root install SuperSU 2.82 or Magisk in TWRP
  • For root MiPAD2 use SuperSU 2.46 in TWRP
ROMs for devices with locked bootloader:
  • Unlock your first bootloader here http://en.miui.com/unlock/
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • Code: 
    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
  • TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
  • Wipe /data partition
  • Copy our ROM to the internal storage
  • Install our ROM
  • Reboot
  • done
How to update MI5 to Android 7.0 from Android 6.0:
- Install LATEST Android 6.0 release for MI5 6.11.10
- Install TWRP 3.0.2.3 or ZCX
- Reboot to new TWRP
- Install Android 7.0 release
- Reboot - Never wipe /system partition manually!
- Done
- In case of any issues, make factory reset via system settings
- For ROOT on Android 7.0 install SuperSU 2.82 or Magisk

Installation via TWRP:
- Download zip to internal storage
- Updater - Menu (...) - Reboot to Recovery
- Install - Select zip
- Reboot
- Done

- OTA will be pushed at evening GMT
- MIX2 and MI6 are still in Android 8.0 testing phase

publishing an update with as many as 3 known problems is ridiculous. so if all goes well there are 3 problems. if everything goes wrong, they increase too. I'm with my 7.12.21.

anyone have trouble log in to mi account? i kept getting server error

EDIT:

My bad. I didn't read the changelog because i usually don't have trouble on eu rom. Apparently it really is server problem and they(miui.en) still trying to fix it. It shouldn't be a problem to people who upgrading from last week rom because you already login to mi account. But for someone flashing from other custom rom, it will be a problem. Unless you lagout from mi account the last time you use miui.

YES mi from Honduras MI MAX 2, JUST make a clean update (wipe old ROM in TWRP) Clean Install, and now can NOT use my cell, is say Network not working can check password, and something like the servers are not conecting or something, Somebody knows what happen ?

this ROM is not working, I can not use my cell, i can not log to mi account, the phone is block, there is a KNOWN ISSUES section ?

On the 2nd post this thread..changelogs always there...this time with additional *known issues* which is a really good move, so people who read know what they are going to face when flashing the rom.

installation smooth, ps certified, magisk ok. overall OK.

Hi I did go back to OLD ROM the 7.12.28 and I have the same problem! I can not use my cell Anymore, there is a way to fix this??? or we need to wait Xiaomi to fix the servers ??? can we avoid the Mi account ??? Please Help, is the only phone I have, and now I can not Work, my Phone is NOT WORKING!!! and is the only one I have!
