Yes, very very bad battery management. In fact, I am thinking of feeding my MI 8 to the wolves, if you catch my drift

PS: Froze lots of MI related apps (MI Browser, Account, Phone, Messaging, Sync, etc. and replaced it with Google Apps) and my MI 8 sleeps like a 2 year old baby

trying to install 8.11.29. it giving me error all the time on twrp.

E1001: Failed to update system image!
updater process ended with error 7..
i have twrp latest ( twrp treble)
now im using official miui 8.11.23 china beta.
please make a fix! so that i could use xiaomi.eu oreo rom for my 5x.
update: 8.11.15 install without any problem.

Its working for me... download and try again following the instructions

Hi, redmi note 4 mtk (nikel) here, dirty flashed over 8.8.30.
Now certain apps like Poweramp or Runtastic can't show notifications on lock screen. I have lost music controls on lock screen.
Other apps like spotify are working like before.
Neither stock music apps shows controls on the lock screen
It's a "feature" or a issue?

Maybe the toggle is broken in mi note 3. I have tested on mix 2s and it's ok. Would be nice if mi note 3 user give feedback about it

The best SOT I ever had. I've never reached more than 3hs when the battery is 50%.

Notes: using GPS, mix of wifi and 4g, Bluetooth with MiBand2, brightness around 50%, 70%, social medias all day long, taking some shots and listening to YT Music.

mi max 3 is work fine. How to enable camera2api?

I modified camera2api patch and it work for Mi Max 3. You can download the file, remove extension and flash this file in TWRP.

Spoiler: Added lines in build.prop (blue - on Oreo, blue and red - on Pie) and files

For Mi8 there isn`t fixed. Mi Mix2s have an old Version from Slow Motion.
