Just installed Ursa version (Mi8 explorer edition) install took less than 4 minutes, so far no probs, face unlock works like never before, slomo video works in 120, 240 and 960 fps
Great job!!!
Now I just have to check the next couple of days if battery drain is gone..

Hmm Strange. Until now Android Auto was working fine on my Mix 2s. On The Newest Update i have Problems with ok Google recognition, with The assistant at all and Android Auto "Not responding" or communication Error with The Car after a while. Anybody Else?

Thanks for the update. Install on MI8. First impression, works nice but :
- Still have this problem in messenge app (sms), the contact names don't appears instantly, but shows firs with phone numbers (don't know if i'm clear enough ! ).
- Slow motion in 240 and 960 working but screen is blinking
- Had to reconfigure the face unlock but that's not big deal
....

Edit: Deleting face unlock info and setting up again fixes the problem

For Mi Max 3 Users ....

The only mistake - the camera2api doesn´t works anymore. Bad. But i remember a post from a user here who offers kindly a patch for enabling Camera2api. The name was Camera_2API_Pie.zip. My respect to this user. Read the posts and you find it here. Flashing this file with TWRP and all works well. So it seems - by me - that a dirty install with TWRP works good. The Bootloader stays unlocked after flash. Also ARB is not active. check with this command - fastboot getvar anti - gives me this result : fastboot getvar anti failed. Means no ARB. Hope this helps all Mi Max 3 Users.

Very fluent and seems to open up apps faster - thanks to the team.
BUT xiaomi added a white transparent line in fullscreen mode, when you are using fullscreen gestures. It's visible all the time.
Hope they drop the feature in upcoming updates or did someone figure out, how to disable it?

I had the same problem with last week update. A bit annoying...
I often dirty flash New update and there was no problem with older version.

Apps are slow with this rom. Google maps and Facebook are slow starting for example.
