I installed the oreo rom on my MI5.
Everything looks good so far, but it seems Android systeem is using more power then the ROM before. It use 8% more power then the ROM before. But i will wait before installing the stable ROM

So i did OTA for my mi5 (was at 8.3.8 android 8.0), and now i think im stuck in boot, it has the mi logo and the powered by android on bottom with the loading dots.. Help?

Im so confused right now. Why on earth i now have 3 different mi video apps, 2 qr readers, 2 mi remotes and 2 updaters. Why...just why?

And those new apps with little dots on the bottom won't even launch. Also cannot be deleted. Seems pretty much useless imo.

those apps are dual apps... somewhere in settings - dual apps i guess

O dont know why but my mix 2 got stuck after the update, I have to clear all data to make the phone work again. And some important options like keep wifi on while charging have disappeared.
About the rest so far so good.
