I upgraded from weekly 8.4.26, that is miui 9.6 straight to weekly 8.7.12 MIUI 10. No problem with that.

I found the feature, it didn't work at first because I was using the front facing camera. When using the rear camera in portrait mode I can select an option during shoot and also after shoot in Gallery.

Im using a Mi8.

The T9 dialer support isn't working for me on my Redmi 4X. I cleared cahe + dalvik (I did it also after upgrading to miui10), rebuilt the T9 index in the contacts app, but nothing happened. I've got numerous contacts calledTamás (Thomas in Hungarian) in my contact list, and they are listed while I enter 826, but when I tap number 2 again, all of them disappears.

Obviously, the accented a is treated differently from a normal a. As for T9, whether this is a bug or not, depends on your viewpoint. If you consider a and á the same letter and want the phone to do that, too, simply type in the name as "Tamas" instead of "Tamás", and it will work. If you don't consider them the same letter, then why should your phone?
(By the way, I feel your pain - accented letters are a big problem in many languages, including those that I speak daily...)

I had the same probleme. The only solution is download miui v9.5. 2.0 stable from this froum. Install it. Than install again this version of miui 10 . probleme solved.

I have an impression that the maximum media volume when using internal speakers is much lower than on the last MIUI 9.

I have a 2 years xiao mi account with a Chinese number and got unlocked right away when applying for my new Mi8 phone.
I have also applied for another account, also active for 2 years BUT using a French number, and there got the 360 hours message.

Could it be that the unlocking time was related to the account phone number ?

Yes you are probably right. Personally I have got help from one from China, we did it together as experiment with success. He told me he had a special account which gives him right to unlock a device right away. I had to install some Chinese software and some USB port sharing software and with help Team Viewer vi succeded. IT was amazing to get help that way.

However I was not able to get xiaomi.eu custom ROM to work properly on Mi 8 Se so I am still on Chinese ROM
