If I were you, with that kind of SOT, I will upgrade to 8.8.3 as fast as I can.

For classic theme icons, set Classic theme in Theme manager.. Not default.. It was renamed..

You will create another theme after fixing the face id for the device 7.0. everytime there is a new version?. It's called v2?

They changed default theme.. So you have to set classic icons package manually now in Theme Manager..

Some phones are missing in download page and there is no information about them? Such as redmi note 3. Are they suspended?

You have to see the reason of this battery drain: security->battery->battery use. If one (or more) app are bigger than Android system, it can be a problem of apps permissions
