I said Contacts Storage app (com.android.providers.contacts), not "contacts and messaging apps". Read carefully.
No idea about the acore crash as I don't have such a crash and you didn't show the crash summary.

8.8.30 is not based on a stable ROM, it's based on the latest public China Developer ROM.
Xiaomi have not released a stable MIUI 10 ROM for your device yet.
I got same problem with contacts, downgrade to 8.8.30, for now I believe best ROM is 8.8.30.. Mi8

Is possible to fix instant apps or it causes by MIUI china rom.
It works on global and AOSP with Google apps.
Xiaomi.eu ROM is based on Official China ROM. If you compare it to Official ROM, you need to compare with China, not with Global.

In my forecast:
"Instant Apps" feature is related to Google Play or Google App. But, can not use Google services basically in China.
"Instant Apps" may not be available as of "Official China ROM".

I know that china "deintegration" (on official MIUI rom) with Google may causes problem with Instant apps. The second option is missing some Google apks that isn't added by xiaomi.eu team.
When I enable Google instant apps on global or AOSP it downloads APK but on xiaomi.eu not. Unfortunately in logcat I didn't see anything disturbing, so I'm asking :)

I agree that battery life is significantly worse in 8.8.30, compared to 8.8.22. I was happy that battery life had improved in 8.8.22, just to now find it worse again. Let's hope for a fix in the next version.

(that's for the Mi note 3 Jason)

Hi,
I have an issue with the network. Sometimes, even if I full LTE signal, my Mi 8 can't connect to internet. I'm not sure but I think it happened most of the time after I lost the network (underground for example) but sometimes no. It's very annoying because I have to turn ON and OFF the airplane mode about 10 times a day.
It happened few times with the previous versions but not as much as 8.8.30.

I had a few of those when reinstalling from Titanium. All where solved by uninstalling the app and then installing it from Play.

I tried that and it worked for some apps but things like Contacts didn't work either. Phone calls from people didn't list their names and neither did SMS messages. Phone was borked unfortunately. Trying LineageOS now to see if I like it but I might come back to Xiaomi.eu MIUI 10, will see how it goes. Gutted that it happened 'cos I had my phone set up exactly how I liked it. Just my luck!

Will the weekly be further developed or will it be necessary to switch to stable for further updates?

I just don't like miui 10 only for one reason. It's because *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* not working on miui 10. Black screen .
Hope someone figure it out soon how to make it work..

Yeah maybe, im using iTube a lot and bluetooth not that much, wifi is always disabled when im not home. Spotify, youtube eats battery. Depends which quality your watching and everything on it.

Depends on a lot of things and how you use your phone.

Im gonna watch the SOT for today i just charged the phone for 98%.

it was success to convert my mi8 rom global to mi8 eu 8.8.30 , but when i reboot my devices, i receive a warning "The bootloader is unlocked and software integrity cannot be guaranteed. Any data stored on the device may be available to attackers. Do not sore any sensitive data on the device. Visit this link on another device: g.co/ABH." and it's not into fastboot mode anyone have the same problem?

I'm not sure if is the youtube that is draining my battery away , even just one video with 5 min in 720 60fps was enough to decrease 5%. Because the prints below doesn't seem show that.
Anyway, thanks dude.
