Perhaps your device use wrong splash.img or it's manipulated. Xiaomi's splash.img files are very picky.
A "splash.img" is not a graphical image but an image of a whole memory partition called "splash" which consists of at least 3 boot image files (boot logo, fastboot logo and corrupt system logo). These images must fit exactly in pixel dimensions and they must not exceed limited file size.

On 10.2.2.0 all was ok. Also I checked both splash img and xiaomi.eu splash.img has different size than splash.img from 10.2.2.0 global stable fastboot ROM.
