You need to "FORMAT DATA" !!! (where you have to type/confirm with YES) otherwise
it will not work !

So you didn't read the first post. And as @deepblue2000 said it's essential to format data when coming from official ROM.
But anyway, it worked now.

I am Mi8 user... after install 9328, I cannot setting notification for each app. Go to Notification & Status Bar > App Notification, change anything to ON, then all back to OFF again (for example setting for floating or allow sound, always back to OFF). Hopefully someone could assist me. Thanks.

I dropped it recently but didn't notice it immediately. It appears when I increase the brightness. At first I thought it was a screen burn problem and I ran some apps that improved it considerably. But it worked only for a few hours.

I've done a quick recording about this so you can see what it is.
Effectively, it's Mi's own take on Google's "Motion Photos", where it takes multiple pictures (or rather, a short video?) within a short time period (seems to be 1-2 seconds) and later on allows you to take the best / alternative shot from that series of images.

Right now, I don't think there's any information available as to which phones will support this, as it's officially only in the China stable / beta right now...

Also, @Igor Eisberg I've tried modifying the MiuiGallery.apk on my Mi Mix 2S to be able to view those dynamic shots, but it seems like I don't see these extra buttons on photos that I supposedly took with the dynamic shots mode

Yes, going to enable it on all Camera2 API devices.
Actually, they did make it exclusive to Mi 9. (Maybe Mi 9 SE as well, didn't check)
To enable it on Mi 9 all I needed is tiny patching for Camera and Gallery to region-unlock the feature.
But for other devices I would have to use some extra files from Mi 9.

I had the same problem with the update of my RN5.
You must flash the TWRP with this.img file.

I have been playing around trying to get Google's "Motion" to work in several versions of *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* in my Mix1 & Note 2, and this only works if you use Google Photo as gallery app.
( No, I haven't got it to work yet, but partially, it seems.)

Just curious, has anyone gotten "Motion" pictures to work in any version of *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* on any device?

Hi firends,
I have a MI 8 with Global China, so i wanted to put this ROM :
-succeed with ADB/Fastboot to instal TWRP Dipper version
-put this last ROM with the TWRP with OTG USB key ( with no error )
-Reboot after TWRP instal this ROM
But my problem is that it is blocked on the MI log with 3 little points and written powered by Android !!!
What can i do ??
I can have acces to Fastboot and the TWRP, but my phone does not start !!
Can you help me please ???

Edit : i was just thinking that the Format Data was for phones with locked bootloader, as it is written on the 1 post, mine is not locked

ROMs for devices with locked bootloader:

• Unlock your first bootloader here http://en.miui.com/unlock/
• Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
• Code:
  fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
  fastboot boot twrp.img
• TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
• FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
• Copy our ROM to the internal storage
• Install our ROM
• Reboot
• done
