It's working now. My phone had some dust in the speaker. After cleaning it the proximity sensor is working. As far I could find out, the proximity sensor is somewhere below the speaker or near it. I had my finger above the speaker and I was able to see the values change from 5 to 0. Dust was the problem

You can do it with 1217 or 1102 twrp. no problem. Just don't forget to install 1227 twrp BEFORE rebooting the system rom!
('reboot in recovery and flash or install 1227 img) then use the rom.

But the problem is that 1227 doesnt work un my phone. I fastboot flash It, everything seems to be ok, but when i try to reboot in the revovery It never boots... Then i have to flash again back twrp 1217.

Once again, I repeat: Do NOT report ANY issues regarding Dark/Night Mode! We do not control how it looks! This feature is officially under development and is not ready for public usage! It's placed in Developer options for a good reason!

Hi ... the same on my MI8 after a clean install.

Sometimes Whatsapp (it is in autostart / standard theme) shows an icon / badget -> sometimes no notification.

I switch now from german to english and I will test it.

Either The notifications are massively delayed or will start popping up once I open whatsapp.

.) Autostart is enabled, miui and android 9 battery optimization for whatsapp is disabled.
.) Default rhodium theme
.) language set to English

At first I thought it's an issue between simple kernel 2.6 and the new 9.3.7 release but the issue remains after the restoring original kernel.

No, not yet. Im still in rom release 8.12.13. Im afraid to get into a bootloop if i update to 9.3.7 with twrp 1217

you will not get any bootloo^p. But you'll loose TWRP further access if you don't install it (1227 twrp ) BEFORE rebooting the new rom.

Strange, I had same issue while on WiFi, then switched to mobile data and it download it in minutes without a problem... Also manual download will be fine. For Mi8SE.

In the statusbar there are no icons. Does this ROM support this?
